Natives Overcome Steinbach's Relentless Effort And Edge Pistons 2-1
February 17, 2010

It is a rarity for The Neepawa Natives to be matched in the area of effort and work ethic.
But on Wednesday night, the Steinbach Pistons came close.
At the end of the night, The Natives got the 2-1 victory over the home ice Pistons.
With the two points in hand, Natives' coach Bryant Perrier was complimentary of the Steinbach club.
"They work, and they work and they work," said the coach. "They are a very good team and they work very hard. It was a great game."
The coach, who watched his team hit the 70 point mark with the win - said his team did a great job in getting the two points.
"We had to match their work ethic, and we did. But, it was a dogfight all the way through," Perrier said.
"They really play their rink well."
