National Television Features Natives Program And Backbone Volunteer
May 9, 2010
For the millions of people who were watching the Royal Bank Cup on Sunday on Canada's Sports Network (TSN), it was an opportunity to learn more about The Neepawa Natives organization and its amazing billet co-ordinator, Mary Ellen Clark.
Mary Ellen, who also billets players for the Natives program, was recognized by Royal Bank Canada for her excellence in volunteering her time to make sure that every player who suits up for The Natives has a great home to live in.
The Natives are known for their attention to detail and level of care for the players who play for the team.
Mary Ellen's love for the players and ability to communicate effectively with the billet homes and the team's hockey operation is second to none.
To be recognized on a national level for the excellence in which she conducts herself and governs the club's billet program is exciting for The Natives program.
Mary Ellen has been a wonderful ambassador for the club and the league for many years, and Neepawa's care for its players has always been a strong selling feature for the program.
Today, all of Canada knows that The Neepawa Natives have a nationally ranked billet program and billet co-ordinator.
What a great day for Mary Ellen and the whole Neepawa Natives organization.
