Drake Lindsay
The Natives are thrilled to have selected Drake Lindsay with their 3rd pick in MJHL Draft 2010. Lindsay is a skilled and intelligent player who has excellent upside toward being a very good MJHLer.

The Neepawa Natives used their third pick in MJHL Draft 2010 to select Interlake Bantam forward Drake Lindsay.

Lindsay is a skilled and intelligent player who will add an element of poise to The Natives organization.

Natives coach Bryant Perrier was thrilled with the pick.

"I am not going to say where we had Drake rated on our list, because it will sound like a cliche," offered the coach. "It was high. I am not sure if people outside of our draft table would believe it if I said the number. Needless to say, we are ecstatic."

Lindsay comes from a hockey rich family, which has a tradition of college hockey, as both brothers played college hockey.

An exceptional student, Lindsay hopes to continue the tradition - something The Natives believe is a reality.

"Drake is a cerebral player with great lineage. We are pleased to have he and the Lindsay family as part of our organization," Perrier said.
