Natives Getting Ready For Pre Season

Captain Eddie Friesen and The Neepawa Natives are just over a month away from the start of the 2010-2011 season. An excellent recruiting class and tremendous character and talent amongst the veteran players brings much promise to the season.
The Neepawa Natives have released their pre season schedule for the 2010 - 2011 season.
Head coach Bryant Perrier says the club has ventured toward the Addison Division for three of its five games.
Games against Winkler (two), and Winnipeg Saints (one) will provide the majority of the schedule, while a home and home with Dauphin will balance out the five game pre season format.
Perrier is excited for his club to begin action.
"It seems like not very long ago that our guys were heading out the door, to return home to their families and to train for this season," he said. "Now, we are standing at the door of the season."
While the off season is a time for players to spend time with friends and family, Perrier says his players and recruits have also been busy preparing for the season.
"Our guys are doing a good job of getting ready for the season," he said. "Our group is committed and fired up. Players are committed to our goals for next season."
