Neepawa Natives Hockey

Thank you for participating in Ask The Coach. There are many great things about The MJHL. It is as good a junior A league as any in Canada and is starting to become elite. The competitive level is very high. The guys here really compete hard and work as hard as they can. The level of execution is also great. If you make a defensive zone error in this league, it is usually disastrous. The players are opportunistic. The coaching is so strong among our opponents, that it really challenges me as a coach. I guess the challenge is what I also like. I know I have to be sharp and on point. From a personal standpoint, being in The MJHL means being a Neepawa Native. To me that is what means the most. The people in Neepawa are great and being a part of The Natives means the most to me. Thanks for asking.
