Scouting Staff
Jeff MacDonald - Head Scout
Jeff has done a tremendous job of identifying and categorizing talent for the Natives. His ability to recognize character and intangibles in players is an excellent attribute. He is also in charge of identifying players for the MJHL draft and works closely with Coach Perrier on the team's protected players list. Jeff is a native of Minnedosa. His involvement in the game extends to experience coaching at the AAA midget level as well as at the grass roots minor hockey level. He has coordinated several drafts for the Natives and was readily available throughout the years to provide insight. He is taking on an extended role with the team after quickly gaining an acute level of confidence from Coach Perrier. Jeff is a great person who loves the game and the Natives and has consistently impacted both with his hard work and dilligence.
Recruiting Coordinator
Cam Dickie has joined the Natives to coordinate the team's recruiting efforts. He has several years of experience in helping to recruit high level players to the junior A level. He has been instrumental in helping to build four junior A championship teams in the past 13 years. He is also going to be the coordinator for the Natives in the area of player development. He will work along side of Coach Perrier and Jeff MacDonald in attempting to build a program of significance in Neepawa.
