Neepawa Natives Teddy Bear Toss

The Neepawa Natives held their annual Teddy Bear Toss and gathered over 100 bears and stuffed toys. Some of the bears are on their way to Winnipeg Childrens’ Hospital. Some went to the Neepawa Salvation Army. A large number went to Mary Murray of Neepawa who gets the bears into the hands of emergency workers such as fire, police and ambulance workers to give out to children in trauma situations. A large bag of bears went to the Pediatrics Ward at Brandon General Hospital. Pictured here is Neepawa Natives president Ken Waddell delivering a shipment of bears to Pediatrics Ward RN, Kirtsyn Weerts.
