Phinney Commits to Chatham University

The Neepawa Natives are proud to announce that Thomson Phinney has committed to Chatham University, for the 2021-22 season.

The Cougars are a Division III (NCAA) program in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania that compete in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC).

Phinney had this to say about playing in Neepawa, “My time in Neepawa was short, but I really enjoyed it with a great group of guys, and coach Ken helped me bunches! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to play my last year of junior.”

Phinney, Halifax, N.S., joined the Natives in 2020 and played in 5 regular season games for the Natives and becomes the 5th member of the 2020-21 team to commit to a school.

The entire organization would like to congratulate Thomson and wish him all the best in Pittsburgh.
